Starting February 1, John J Burke will be VNS Health’s new executive vice president and chief of Health Plans. John brings with him 25 years of experience as an executive-level healthcare professional and prior to his new role was the CEO of SOMOS Innovation. As CEO, he established a full-risk, delegated health plans called Innovator, that supported 100,000+ Medicaid members from 600 different primary care providers during its first two years. He also has experience serving low-income, immigrant, and elderly communities and populations.
